PokerNews Strategy
Just launched in 2010, PokerNews Strategy is already a great looking poker training site. This training site, owned by Tony G, has caused alot of stir with the acquisition of some of the most prolific online poker players. Major attractions on the site include, Randy ‘Nanonoko’ Lew, Scott ‘URnotINdanger2’ Palmer and Josh ‘litlebastrd’ Tieman.
PokerNews Strategy Review
PokerNews Strategy is a sister site of the popular online poker portal PokerNews.com, which is owned by poker pro Tony G, and is a big part of his online poker empire. PokerNews Strategy is looking to capitalize on the success of PokerNews by creating a top-flight online poker training site. The big name coaches at PokerNews Strategy are Randy ‘Nanonoko’ Lew, Scott ‘URnotINdanger2’ Palmer, and 2010 WSOP bracelet winner Josh ‘litlebastrd’ Tieman, and of course Tony G.
This is the second go-round for PokerNews Strategy –the site made an unofficial launch a few years ago, but even though they had some of the biggest names in poker creating video content, the launch was a bit premature and members were turned off by the lack of content –PokerNews Strategy originally launched with a mere 40 videos.
So it was back to the drawing board for the PokerNews Strategy team, and now the site is officially launched with a larger coaching team, more videos, and a number of other features that will surely make PokerNews Strategy a major player in the online poker training market. The video content has more than tripled since the initial launch, and with a slew of new coaches, new videos are added almost daily.

Target Population
PokerNews Strategy is taking the all-around approach to poker training content, with a number of different games and structures covered. Obviously PokerNews Strategy will focus its attention on No limit Holdem games, but the site will also feature PLO and mixed game videos as well.
The players that will get the most out of PokerNews Strategy will be up-and-coming poker players looking to build a solid foundation, or winning players who are looking to plug a few leaks, and/or move-up in stakes.
Unique Features
With its affiliation with PokerNews and other parts of the Tony G Empire, PokerNews Strategy has a lot of capital to throw around in terms of bringing in new coaches and creating content.
Another good aspect of this relationship is that members of PokerNews will have the chance to sign-up with rakeback deals, exclusive deposit bonuses, and have access to freeroll tournaments from PokerNews Strategy’s sister sites.
Coaching Team
PokerNews Strategy has a solid instructional team filled with winning, experienced, players as well as an assortment of up-and-coming online poker studs. The site also made headlines when it acquired the entire Lock Poker lineup of sponsored pros to produce training content for PokerNews Strategy! They have also added a mental coach, Jamie Glazier, to their roster as well.
All of this is in addition to the older content from the original launch that featured videos by Patrik Antonius, Tony G, Lex Veldhuis, Chris Lee, and Corwin Mackey.
