PokerPwnage

When it comes to multi table tournament poker training, we are somewhat disappointed by PokerPwnage. Pwnage is one of the the longer established specialist poker training sites and yet have failed to impress many. Pros at Pwnage include rdcrsn, assassinato and sketchy1 – amongst many more.

Poker Pwnage Review

Poker Pwnage is an online poker training site that has the coolest name in the business, however it remains some what mediocre when it comes to poker training.

Poker Pwnage specializes in Multi-Table Tournament training, and features some of the brightest young minds in all of online poker, yet their videos dont quite reach the heights we feel they should. Compared to other sites, Poker Pwnages 340 videos may seem kind of paltry, but when you take into consideration the site’s specialization in MTT’s its hard to complain. Although Poker Pwnage does have a respectable 20 Sit & Go videos, and approximately 5 cash game videos, it is not worth a subscription for them alone.

Target Population

We do feel that you will receive better value on your MTT poker training at Float the Turn. Check out the Float the Turn review now.

As I stated, Poker Pwnage is a Multi-Table tournament training site. If you’re not an MTT player, or don’t plan on being one, then this site is simply not for you. Pwnage’s videos range from small buy-in tournaments, to re-buys, to satellites, to big buy-in events; truly something for every type of tournament player.

Pricing Options and Exclusive Discounts

As with most specialized training sites, Poker Pwnage is very reasonably priced, whether you prefer month-to-month memberships, or are willing to commit to a longer period of time. Their pricing is very similar to FloatThe:

  • Monthly Membership – A one-time $35 activation fee and $24.99/month (debited from your PayPal account)
  • 3-Month Membership – A one-time activation fee of $35 and a $74.97 payment
  • 6-Month Membership – NO ACTIVATION FEE and a one-time payment of $149.94 (only $24.99/month)
  • 12-Month Membership – NO ACTIVATION FEE and a one-time payment of $299.88 (which works out to $24.99/month as well –no discount???)

Currently Poker Pwnage only accepts payments through PayPal or through a UB or Full Tilt player-to-player transfer. Hopefully they will add more options in the future.

Overall

For what they do Poker Pwnage is just okay; strictly looking at the content Pwnage is definitely only applicable to MTT players – but how good is it? The site does lack a bit behind some others when it comes to production values, and some basic navigation flaws. Considering the price and the quality of content we are not overly impressed. We feel you would bet a bigger bang for your buck at Float The Turn. We recommend you read the Float The Turn review before going to Pwnage.
